Description
Here's my concept for Mega Pyroar. I purposely wanted to keep this one simple but with one dramatic change. Obviously I'm talking about its mane. When Pyroar was first revealed the response was lacklustre. Its questionably fluffy mane of coloured fur wasn't quite what fans had been expecting of the long-awaited lion Pokémon. This turned out to be a sign of its Normal-typing. I think my concept gives Pyroar the edge it was missing in its base form in a simple but effective way. It would make a great choice for Doubles especially when partnered with a Drought user.

Fun fact - the male and female's manes are made from 4x Cyndaquil and 2x Quilava flames respectively!

Details
When Pyroar Mega Evolves its lustrous mane bursts into fierce flames, no longer capable of containing the fire within. Its golden, glowing eyes also reflect its burning passion for battle! In this battle-ready form, overflowing with energy, its speed and offensive power are a force to be reckoned with. This change sees Mega Pyroar adopt a more aggressive, dominant and prideful nature, and its roar is said to inspire these feelings in those that hear it. Upon defeating its opponent it let's loose an almighty roar, letting those who hear it know of its presence and power. Mega Pyroar's imposing presence prevents opponents from making speedy or sneak attacks.
