One of the first sequences I did was from a series of pics of Magica zapping up the McDuck family. I've wanted to redo the webby pic for a while. I had an idea that the original just didn't capture very well. At one point, I'd considered doing a short, animated gif, but hoo boy am I in no way good enough to pull that off. Ed drew the sketched base for me based on my instructions, I inked and colored it.

While I'm probably the only one bothered by it, if there's one thing I'd do differently, I fee like I should have made frame three Webby cresting the arc and coming back down to preserve momentum. I originally envisioned the pic as her jumping straight up in the air, changing at the height of her jump and then falling back down. But this being a sequence, the vertical progression of the pics gives a sense of direction I had not intended, so it looks like Webby's momentum just stops. I compensated for this by adding an additional zap to frame 3 and I guess that works, but lesson learned on this one: don't get so attached to an original idea that you become unwilling to change plans when something needs you to.

Still, it's not bad. Ed's sketch was great and lent itself to a really good finished work.
