Ever since the start of her career, Piper's life has been fraught with all sorts of perils: from being the target of lethal poisoning at Dugout Inn, to being abducted by the Church of the Children of Atom, and even being excommunicated after the publication of her infamous article "The Synthetic Truth".
Throughout her perilous endeavors, Piper constantly ran afoul of local Diamond City security to where they nicknamed their lockup after her (hence the title), due to her frequent stays there. Due to her sarcastic attitude, her resourceful escapology know-how, and her unwavering support for synths, there's a good chance she was bound and gagged at least once by her jailers. Despite it all, her numerous sticky situations and attempts on her life remain a source of pride for Piper, as she feels that getting into trouble is a small price to pay for uncovering the truth.
