okay, ya gotta start off simple with this sort of thing right?   and what's more simple than a campsite on the edge of the woods?
   but damn ,  the coding side of this thing is harder than i first thought.  but i know i have a few tutorials to read before i go nuts at this.
   like the bit of code i want to learn for this is how to transition between maps.
