Description
The boat had sustained some pretty severe damages but managed to somehow keep itself afloat. It was a miracle the thing hadn't broken in half by the time she noticed what her generous strides were doing. She figured the best way to shore was to take on a size that was one iota short of earth-cracking. Provided she stepped light enough she wouldn't kick up enough of a wake to do any kind of damage. But she failed to heed the hailing of the tiny vessel at her ankles, which managed to avoid being obliterated by her muscular calves and crushed by the small peaks of water that followed in their path. No men lost, thankfully. But it would have taken maybe one second more before she kicked up enough water to capsize the poor ship.

Thankfully that didn't happen and they all had a good laugh afterwards. Then she offered them a faster, safer, softer method of transport, as their engines had been rattled in their first encounter. They reluctantly agreed.

So, I like Cora.
