good composition of the blurred background and the sharp foreground. The half of the sunflower creates the image instresting as it leaves something to the imagination. Great shot

Beautiful shot... I'm pretty much starting out and manipulating my camera like that... I can't quite get it yet. I am a photoshop fan... to get something like that on your own... I like it. Great job.

Thanks a lot. It takes a ton of pictures to get that perfect shot. I was out and this was one of 30 or more. It just happened to work out. Photoshop technique comes with practice too. Keep it up.

thanks. i've seen a lot of photographers that have done great stuff with the digital rebel. However, using the 18-55 doesn't help anyone's cause because that lense distorts the image and isn't as sharp. That is what i used for this image, which is why it isn't as crisp as it should be. keep trying - and use unsharp mask in Photoshop (if you have it).
