One of the newest cat-run recruits, Hayley (no relation) is ambitious, optimistic and good-natured. Somewhat overly so. Her inexperience manifests a fear of disappointing those around her and ignorance of the dangers of the world.

Captain Christoper Costa (30, Amedian, Fennec Fox, Cat-Run Captain)
Probably the most messed up goofball you’ll ever meet. Chris’ immaturity and light-hearted nature is outweighed by his competence as a leader and fighter, earning him a place as a cat-run captain. Much to the reluctance of his superiors.

Charlie (18, Amedian, Long-Tailed Weasel, N/A)
An estranged weasel who lives in the forests in the outskirts. He has a… complex relationship with cat-runs. Longs for a life of solitude without concern, but is held back by his love for Hayley.

Anna Guimaraes De Lacerda Limas Grey (30, Amedian, Dilute Calico Cat, Cat-Run Nurse)
The eternally level-headed senior nurse, oldest of 9 sisters, and Cleo’s wife. She is sweet, stern, and her patience is legendary, compared only to her skill at first aid.

Chloe Guimaraes De Lacerda Limas (28, Amedian, Calico Cat, Cat-Run Nurse)
The goofy, free-spirited younger nurse who, unlike her older sister, doesn’t much care about her work and prefers just to hang out with the people she looks after. Growing up, she always wanted to be a fighter, but was never brave enough to apply.

Twile Diaz Costa Martelle (38, Amedian, Fennec Fox, Landlady)
Owner of a restaurant and trailer park where many cat-runs reside, which was fixed up by and inherited from her father. She is strict and firm, but lovable and motherly. Loves her whole family, including her husband, daughter, and cousin Chris.

Chad ‘Cleo’ Grey (30, Fadian, Silver Red Fox, Cat-Run Deputy)
One of the highest ranking cat-runs in his region, Cleo is hard working and serious. Some would say he became much more focused on his work after promotion, others would say he was always a nerd deep down. At the end of the day, he can be a pretty chill person to be with, but Chris often wears his patience thin.

Captain Gruciano (61, Amedian, Blood Gryphon, Cat-Run Leader)
Dedicated and fierce leader of the cat-runs, and a rare powerful breed gryphon. Gruchiano is equal parts a brutal fighter and friend, and cares strongly for the well being of his soldiers.

Sydney Afia (31, Amedian, Okapi, Cat-Run Captain)
Coming from a broken home, young Sydney coped by delving into school work, every evening. He became quite a bookworm, and it was believed he would move onto greater things someday. So it was quite a surprise he decided to become a cat-run instead of moving onto college. Still, it’s fortunate he did. While a little world-weary, Sydney is dedicated and strong, and has even learned to loosen up over the last few years.

Cecilo Cheio de Cor (29, Fadian, Chroma Panther, Cat-Run)
Cecilo was born with a condition called Chromatheif, allowing him to change the colour of his fur similar to a chameleon or octopus could. Over the years, he developed this skill to allow him to camouflage with ease, with the help of a suit that is equally transformable. Most of the time, though, he uses his ability to show off or confuse people, and on account of being fabulously gay, usually takes the form of a rainbow panther. A part-time model, according to rumours.

Katrina Freitas-Brow (28, Amedian, Striped Skunk, Cat-Run)
Katrina and Moka were part of a group of female cat-runs enlisted out of obligation, in a time when female cat-runs were still pretty rare. The career choice was never her favourite, but she couldn’t exactly pass up a rare opportunity to get her family out of the gutter. Her fighting-style involves magic-enhanced weaponry, and hates when people joke about her smell (seriously guys, the stinky skunk stereotype gets old fast.)

Moka Dhungana (28, Amedian, Honey Badger, Cat-Run)
Katrina and Moka were part of a group of female cat-runs enlisted out of obligation, in a time when female cat-runs were still pretty rare. Moka is much less jaded than her partner and thankful every day for the opportunity to serve and help, sometimes struggling to grasp the severity of certain situations. Her combat usually involved ranged weapon such as magic or bows.

Lily Me Matos Moraes (16, Amedian, Golden Cavalier Dog, Cat-Run Apprentice)
The stereotypical rich kid who gets what she wants, when she wants, with the money she wants, supposedly only became a cat-run from her father’s donation. It may be all the ingredients needed to make an alpha brat, but Lily’s… actually a decent person. Sure, she can be insensitive, sure she loves to gloat or complain, but she’ll have your back in a pinch and genuinely wants to be a better person.

Lucas Lint Gomez (16, Amedian, Puma, Cat-Run Apprentice)
Definitely the meekest new apprentice of the year. Lucas always looked up to his twin brother, Liam, who was cooler, smarter, stronger and much more confident than he ever was. When Liam announced his plans to be a cat-run, Lucas was terrified of losing him, so they applied together. Of course, fate had different plans - Lucas was accepted, but Liam was left behind.

Eco Diaz Costa (6, Amedian, Bobcat, Literally a child)
Every class has that one kid who can’t wait to grow up and non-stop talks about how one day, they’ll take the world by storm. Eco (pronounced Echo) is that kid. Twile’s adopted daughter and a rambunctious tomboy who loves anything that’ll get her mucky. She looks up a lot of Kaden and Chris, and dreams of being a famous, powerful cat-run. Ah, the innocence of youth.

Kaden Keita-Kelle (20, Amedian, Cheetah, Cat-Run)
Kaden is from one of the newer batches of cat-runs, although his official inauguration was delayed because his mentor (Cecilo) saw him as relentlessly incompetent. He displays a level of childish enthusiasm and energy that causes those younger to watch him in awe. Those older just watch, knowing the worst years are still ahead of him…

Tinco (18, Amedian, Blue Poison Dart Frog, N/A)
Tinco’s family was ravaged by cat-runs as a child as his hometown was in the midst of a warzone. He watched his parents murdered, his siblings starve, it goes without saying he strongly resents the cat-runs and what they do. Alongside Charlie he protects the forests from further spoilage, but will not seek out violence unless it is needed.

‘Poderia’ (Unknown, Maned Wolf)
The classic story of a cat-run whose values outweighed their duties. She defected, betrayed her fellow fighters, and paid the typical cost of a traitor. She was stripped from her name, everything she held dear, and sent to live in isolation. Even her soul was cursed to be as dark as her crimes.
This would soon prove to be a mistake.

Loretta Nuno De Costa (46, Amedian, Fennec Fox, ‘Dancer’)
The classic story of a child from a favela who would do anything to get by. Her parents were the strict, modest type and her older brother would one day be a successful landlord, whereas Lori ended up pregnant as a teenager and left to fend for herself. To say she was a terrible mother was an understatement, but… she tried her best. Chris hated her throughout his childhood, but they’ve since become a bit closer and happier.

Maria Cael Da Souza Empei (42, Fadian, Half-Angel Balinese Cat, Priestess of the Cat)
Mother of Hayley and Ryan, wife of Captain Jaquez, daughter of an angel. In Satosian culture, an angle is revered as a being of purity, who comes to earth to spread their holy powers. Anybody who bears these wings inherits this purity. Maria spent her youth preaching to those in misfortune who lived in dangerous places, but she was always safe - few would be willing to hurt an angel. Eventually, she settled down and had two children, still performing religious duties but primarily a housewife. Neither of her children inherited her powers.
