I made an update for Rikkun. I took me half a year to finish this, I had a hard time deciding whether I should update my character and to make up my mind. I did drew my character differently and evolvingly from the very start. I guess in a way it somehow reflect as how we change and grow in time. I always wanted my character to be more of myself and what I should wanted it to be, It is my fursona after all.
I am very indecisive, I still do wanna keep the original colors as an alternative. Some change my take some time and I will probably just do more art of him after I finish my work.
Old Ref Sheet:
So about the character. He's a wolf/fennec mix it can be called as a 'Fennec Wolf' or 'Wolfennec' whatever you prefer.
I don't really have much to say about it so, am a picky person when it comes to my own stuff and it takes me forever ;w;
I hope you like the design~ I may do some future adjustment as he will change overtime but I'll keep this design for now.

Looks pawsome! I've been having some similar issues with my own fursona. I can't decide on what I want him to be like: more like myself or less like myself? Nice guy or cool asshole? Etc.

He certainly looks much more wolf like now because of the color, though I'd miss the his fiery burnt-orange fur a little which always made him an instant stand out.

heres an idea: what if these colors are what he turns when he doesnt have enough cofee? and, like, the radioactive effects of the tritium rod are what cause this? could make for some interesting stories for artwork ideas. and maybe he gets alittle bit meaner/more evil when he doesnt have his cofee for a long enough amount of time.

Maybe, if you wanted, you could have the two color schemes as a seasonal thing where he could be this new color in fall and winter and the other more orange and warm color during the summer and spring c:
but idk it might go against what you have in mind for him
