Description

A human stands next to two sapients of the great ring archipelago. A collection of millions space stations built into the inner asteroid field of the Andorin system.

On the left is "brain coral". Some mistake this species for an uplift of a coral species, in reality they were created from the ground up by a dolphin genetic artist in the mid 90th century. The species arrived in Andorin mostly as political refugees from the Kingdom of the Tree of Life.

on the right is a "modular swarm". Modulars are a race of robots that have a hive like intelligence where each body part has its own limited sentience. Limbs are discarded, gained and traded between members frequently. This has the effect of giving the modulars a very hazy sense of personhood.
