Description
No matter what the polls indicate, Suplex is the best ability. For those who never played Kirby Superstar or the DS remake, Kirby Superstar Ultra, Suplex was an ability that would allow the pink puffball to rush at, pick up and throw various objects with a variety of wrestling inspired techniques. These could range from stars, small foes, defeated midbosses, to even certain projectiles like the large cannonballs from the Halbred. The thrown object does large chunks of damage, with it possibly striking multiple times. Even if there's no projectile available at the moment, Kirby can dive kick foes for weaker, but still considerable, damage. Kirby can also hold on to his attack for several seconds, giving him invincibility frames in the process before automatically throwing. This ultimately turned it into a more methodical fight; do you throw the attack back at an enemie to cause large damage but be forced to wait for another chance? Do you hold on to it for a slightly better opening to deal multiple hits and a chance to OHKO a boss, with the chance of being hurt afterwards?
You can call this an evolution to the Backdrop ability or a better version of the Throw ability. This is a particularly fun but difficult ability, as it can do massive damage but requires you to play slowly. I can testify, It has it's perks if mastered; I even managed to beat both Arenas with ease, the only other ability to beat it's time was Hammer (it was pretty OP).
So, there ya go.
