Suited For The Occasion
By ThatGuy

Leanne was bored. Bored, bored, bored. There was nothing on tv. It was a weekday, so there were no holidays or events going on in town to distract her - not a single block party for miles! Her favorite hangout was closed for renovation - something about massive structural damage. None of her friends were doing anything either, or at least weren’t doing anything they wanted invite her to. It was just her in her apartment, staring at the walls and trying to keep her eyes from bleeding.

Well, her and her roommate. She looked over, just for the sake of having something to focus on. The other girl was off to the side, curled up against the couch as usual with an open textbook in her arms.

As if her eyeballs had alarms attached, her staring a hole in the back of her roommate’s head actually got a response. “Would you cut that out?” Elke grunted. Leanne didn’t know how she always did that - she didn’t even look up - but all the same… “I’m trying to concentrate, and your groaning and whining isn’t helping.”

Oh. Maybe she was being a little obvious after all. Still, getting all focused on schoolwork of all things? Leanne rolled her eyes. The picture of pep and excitement, that one.

And yet, despite what she could already say about the boring homebody she knew and loved, for one mad moment she actually considered asking her for advice on what to do. How stir crazy did she have to be..She and Elke had been friends for a long time, sure but it was still a dark day when she actually looked to the bookworm for excitement. The only bit of real fun that girl ever got to even halfway experience was whenever they…

Wait…

That was an idea! She grinned madly, maybe even giggled a little. She was excited, so what? She whipped her head back to the studious girl, bouncing in her seat.

“Hey, can we-“

“No.”

“But I didn’t even-“

“No.”

“Oh, come on!”

Elke sighed irritably, adjusting her glasses in that annoying way she always did whenever she was about to tell Leanne off. “We’re not doing it. Period. Stop asking.”

That was hardly fair. I was supposed to take two to tango, wasn’t it? Forget it, when did little miss “I”m too nerdy to let you have fun” even get a say? She was supposed to be the one calling the shots where this topic was concerned, the designated superstar and all that!

“I mean,” Leanne huffed, “I don’t want to pull rank here but don’t you, like, have to do it when I want to?” Elke threw her an unimpressed look, though it wasn't much different from her normal way of looking at Leanne, so it didn't have much of an effect. She didn’t back down, no ma’am. “It’s totally my choice.”

“I’m only obligated when it’s an emergency. You wanting something to do isn’t an emergency. Plus I hate doing it, and I’m trying to finish my book. So go bug someone else, okay.”

“But there isn’t anyone else!” Leanne whined. “Come on, we’ll only be busy for a few hours, tops. We need to be out there!”

“No, you need to be out there.” Elke said. “Just like you ‘needed’ to barge into that club on Trance St last time. And as I recall, you caused massive structural damage and got the place closed until next June.” Oh sure, it was easy to blame her when everything is said and done, but do the kind of hot but mostly stupid drunks who dared her to show off get a mention? No! “No more joyriding!” Elke finished, cutting off any further complaint.

Not that Leanne ever listened. “Aw, that’s not fair!”

Elke didn’t respond.

“Hey, are you ignoring me?”

Still nothing.

Oh, Elke made Leanne so mad! So what if this was a little inconvenient for her! Okay… maybe more than a little inconvenient. But it’s not like Leanne wanted to be a jerk about it. She just wanted tobreak her cabin fever. What happened to having a heart?

“What if I promised to do, like, all your chores for a week. Or a couple days, at least.” She thought for a minute. “Well, maybe not all of them…”

Elke had finally had enough. She threw her head back and groaned angrily, cowing her careless roommate into silence despite not even looking at her. Thus was the power of shame. “Aaargh, seriously!?” She growled. “Please go bug someone else? Is that too much to ask?”

Leanne sighed. “Fine, I’ll just check my phone…”

Elke grunted her approval and went back to reading. And Leanne actually did intend to go looking on her phone for the next few hours, just like she said. But it wasn’t long before she found something that suited her needs a lot better. She sent her unwitting, uncaring roommate a devious glance. This was going to be fun.

“Oh, hey!” She said suddenly, with some very fake shock. She looked intently at her phone and didn’t dare look at Elke, lest she give anything away. “There’s a serial gas siphoner in town! A whole six people have been late to class already. What a disaster!”

Elke jerked involuntarily, causing a single astray mark in her otherwise perfect handwriting. Scowling, she stopped writing and glanced over at Leanne. “What exactly do you think you’re doing?”

Leanne shrugged, and kept on reading. “Just checking the news!” She said nonchalantly. Elke eyed her suspiciously, then slowly turned back to her work. Once she turned away, Leanne smirked: she was totally in there, and she wasn’t about to stop now.

“And, wow!” She squealed a moment later. “Look at this! As if that wasn’t bad enough, because of the guy the football team’s bus is in the shop! They’ll have to forfeit tomorrow’s game. Everyone will be so sad. Someone should really do something.”

Elke twitched again. this time a lot more violently. Her grip tightened on her book, and only halfway with irritation. “S-stop it.“

“Stop what?” Leanne said as innocently as possible.

“I kn…know what you’re doing.” Elke spat out. “I said no! Quit it!”

Leanne smiled and kept on reading. “Oh, check it out. It’s something new! A truck full of pudding… pudding, really?” She pulled a face. “Well, they had an accident on the highway. Oho, dozens of people are stuck out there until they clean it up. Tragic, but kinda tasty!”

“C-cut it out, Leanne! I’m not kidding!” Elke’s whole body was shaking now.

“I’m just saying, it’s really sucks.” Leanne wasn’t even bothering to hide her smirk now. “Oh, wait!” She said, as she “suddenly” had an idea. “Don’t we know someone who could take care of all these horrible misfortunes? A… heroine, perhaps?”

Elke froze. For a split second, her mouth quirked into a smile, and one of her eyes almost looked… pink.  “We… we do, don’t we partner! Sure, we… n-no!” She shook herself out of the daze, her face and eyes back to normal. She angrily tossed the only thing nearby at Leanne, which turned out to be a pencil. The giggling girl easily dodged it, what with Elke being too agitated to aim correctly. “S-stop it right now, you idiot! I mean it! Y-you know that isn’t what it’s s-supposed to be for!“

But she was completely ignored. Leanne, who had clearly been having fun teasing her before, was now consumed with an eagerness of her own. “I guess there’s nothing for it, then! Let’s do it ourselves!”

Elke gasped now, realizing the inevitability of what was coming. There was no way she could hold out now, after having been buttered up so well. Any hope of keeping her afternoon’s peace was swiftly shattering. “N-no!” She choked out, sharp and shrill with desperation as she hugged her sides to keep herself from reacting. “Dammit, Leanne. Please! I d-don’t want to-“

“Sorry, pal!” Leanne finished. She pumped her fist in victory. ”Don the color of justice! There’s evil afoot!”

The bespectacled girl’s entire demeanor changed in an instant. First she went slack, but her eyes lit up - irises now fully a brilliant shade of pink. Only the briefest hint of resistance remained in her eyes, before she erupted into an extra wide, extra cheerful smile. Elke hopped away from the couch and threw her book to the floor with a clatter, suddenly acting perky and full of excitement. “… yes, Captain!” She sighed rapturously, bobbing to her feet in a way very unlike herself. “Let’s go!”

At once, Elke leapt into Leanne’s arms and hugged her tight. Tighter than you’d think a human being would be able to. So tight, in fact, that her whole body seemed to conform to it. Her arms pressed into Leanne’s sides, becoming thinner, and flatter and tighter still. Her legs wrapped around Leanne’s thighs like ribbons, traveling down to her ankles. Her head pressed between Leanne’s bosom and melted into her chest, while the rest of her melded together: joining here and there until what was once a regular human body was now one, single shape.

The shape changed color and texture, from the pale tones of its former self to a bright, pink fabric - comfortable and mobile, strong and unbreakable. Lower down, whatever leftover mass from Elke was still around built over Leanne’s feet and hardened, into a pair of solid boots.

Leanne giggled as she looked down at herself. Or should she say, at the two of them. She was now covered neck to toe in a brilliant suit of skintight spandex that used to be her crabby roommate! And that wasn’t the end. Elke wasn’t the only one who was going to go through a change, though this one wasn’t quite as dramatic.

As the suit settled around her, Leanne could feel her own body shifting underneath. She gained several inches in height, and not just because of the boots, putting her at almost six feet tall. Her muscles were toning all over her, until she was totally ready for action. Her chest bucked, and she could never hold in a sharp gasp at this part. Her bustline billowed out two, no, three sizes. Her hips flared out just the same, the whole of her now cutting a striking hourglass figure that only looked the better in her new suit.

Leanne breathed deep, revealing in the feeling. That change was always a thrill, one she enjoyed even better every time. She didn’t just feel taller, or sexier. She felt energized. There was an electric feeling under her skin, just waiting to be let out. But there was just a little more left before she could cut loose. She closed her eyes, and tried to center her mind. She could feel her friend’s spirit within her suit, still conflicted between annoyance and duty.

Even though Leanne tended to do this for selfish reasons, she liked to try and mentally reassure Elke whenever she did. She didn’t want there to be hard feelings between her and her super-suit. There was a feeling like a resigned but accepting sigh from that corner of her mind, before it joined with the rest of her. Leanne's mind reeled with loads of new information. Not only did she now have the strength of ten women and a body a supermodel would die for, but with Elke’s intelligence, sensibility and skills added to her own she felt capable of anything!

She jumped to the ceiling and let herself hover slowly to the floor, just to revel in the feeling of floating. She was a superhero once more! And all it took as a little trick or two.

Once she was used to the power, she gave the fabric around her busty chest an appreciative pinch. How she missed this body when she wasn’t "out." “Thanks for the boost as always, Elke…”  She sighed, giggling softly. When she was like this, she didn’t feel like either Leanne or Elke any more. But she didn’t bother with coming up with a new name herself. Her fans had so many fun ideas for that already, and she had better things to focus on her attentions on.

“I can’t wait to have some more fun with this,” she said. Her old hangout spot was ruined, totally not her fault. She would need to add “find a new one” to her list of superhero business. But first… “Then again, I did promise to take care of all those ‘disasters.’ Look out, gas siphoner!”

With a mighty leap, she burst from their apartment window and crossed half the town in a single bound. “You’re about to have a super bad time!”

Love the story.  I also really like how we start out here seeing their interactions instead of going though the origin story.

Massive Structural Damage made me grin both the first and second time it was mentioned.  I suspected that Leanne had something to do with it, but had no idea how.

Very cute.  And for all her protesting, Elke seems to somewhat enjoy it as well...
