I love Mortal Kombat and while I know it's overrated, the ninjas are kinda what carry the franchise(if you love anyone else than the ninja's, that's cool too. they also carry the franchise) and well, one of the best characters in mortal kombat has to be, no it IS Hanzo Hasashi, aka the neatherreamer of vengeance, and rage, scorpion.

I love scorpion and I thought about the designs of him. another cool thing about him but the thing is, while most of his outfits are good and some are the best, it can be a hit in miss, and to me, this got me thinking, what would scorpion look like if I designed him. well here's the answer, I used many media and pictures to help me. I'll tell y'all the inspiration right now

hood:mortal kombat x but mostly mortal kombat 11, it gives scorpion the right amount a movement he needs and it also looks cool. happy that we got scorpion with a hood in mkx and 11.

mask:I got inspired from one of the options to change his mask to full black but we all know scorpion wears a skull mask to cover his face. so I tried my best to make it look cool and where he can shoot fire from his mouth yet make it look metal.

gi/chest clothes: was inspired from mk 11 but mostly his past self(or mk 2 look)

shoulder pads:I was inspired from the shredder from TMNT(2003) so I decided to put those on scorpion.

arm band/blades:inspired from shredder again but with a mix cross between him and batman's gauntlets.

belt: inspired from mkx' main scorpion design

gi pants:inspired from dragon ball

did want to draw the feet and his knife(can't spell the actual name of it) but didn't feel like continuing. I did give him a sword on his left, on his back but it's kinda hard to see with the flames. I also do realized it has a similar style to dragon ball, so that's cool. I'm happy to say that I'm happy how it looks. I know I explained a lot here so I won't take up your time much longer, just hope you like the art piece, until then, cya!
