This is from this cottage , by which I became enchanted as soon as I saw it.

Having loved books and everything about them ever since I learned to read, I was soon drawn to the romanticism of these worn and well-loved volumes. I could imagine someone in period clothing from an indistinct era, sitting beside me at the window, turning the crisp new pages of their recently purchased edition of Our Mutual Friend in the streaming sunlight.
