This is interesting. It might actually be a case against Quantum Mechanics. This implies, if you turn away from a problem, there is no possible way for it to come back and bite you... Unless it turns out that the problem is still in motion without your observation.
If I find some mean looking guy on the street and throw a rock at him, then turn my back and walk away, quantum mechanics says he won't/can't throw the rock back at me.
