Put in the main gallery because.. hey, it's useful! Much better then the previous reference.Which is what this was meant to do - replace the old, crappy reference. It was good... but only at the time!
Now I have a question - what should I do next, normal art wise? I'm taking a break on the comic, but I don't have any single-picture ideas.

yeah, you should replace ref as much as you change your style. 
why don't you just take some requests? only about 3 slots or so until you feel ready to continue on the comic again. ^.=.^

yeah, you could always try. ^.=.- just make a journal saying that you are doing requests though only a max of 3 at a time. just take it easy for a while and you'll find all your energy back for your comic soon. ^.-.^
