Description
Kusalitiwa was enjoying the evening in the cave. Her mane had just grown rapidly over the course of the night, so the coolness of the cave was very comforting.“Where is that spoiled little brat?!” Kusalitiwa groaned. She didn’t want to deal with Zira.
“Zira,” Came the timid voice of Scar, “I don’t think it would be good to-“
”HUSH! That cub has been asking for this the entire time that I have been leading the hunt!”
Kusalitiwa rose to her feet as she was met with Zira’s angered expression, “Can I help you Zi-“ Kusalitiwa got struck in the face before she could finish her question.
“Don’t call me Zira! You should be calling me Mother!” She growled, “Where have you been these past three hunts?!”
”Zira,” Kusalitiwa starts, inwardly laughing when she noticed her step-mother’s eye twitch, “I already told you, ever since you married my father, I lost the position of Lead Hunter. In addition, my father laid a rule out for me stating that if I were ever to not be the Lead Hunter, I were to stay in Priderock to avoid the instance of rogues taking advantage of me.”
”LIES,” Zira roared, “You just want to avoid your responsibility as the king’s daughter! You should be hunting and training for combat!”
”Zira, darling,” Scar tried.
”I said HUSH!” Zira back-handed Scar to silence him.
This angered Kusalitiwa. She jumped onto Zira and started biting her. Zira easily threw Kusalitiwa off, but Kusalitiwa wasn’t ready to stop yet. She stood back up and got on her hind legs. She started to scratch Zira’s face to the best of her ability. Zira dodged every single strike and started her own counterattack. Kusalitiwa backed up for a few seconds before jumping at Zira again. Zira didn’t have time to react as Kusalitiwa grabbed hold of Zira’s ear and tore a piece off.
”Do I still need to train?” Kusalitiwa asked mockingly.
Zira growled and jumped at Kusalitiwa. She bit the young lioness’ face and held on. Kusalitiwa pushed Zira off, causing the former to receive a pretty deep gash from the bridge of her snout to the top of her eyebrow. Zira hit Kusalitiwa across the face with enough force to stun Kusalitiwa. With another blow, she knocked Kusalitiwa off her feet.
”Zira, that is enough!” Scar roared. Zira looked at Scar, “I want you out of this cave! Go cool down, go find more food, just leave this cave!”
Zira growled as she turned to leave. Once she was out of the cave, Scar helped his daughter back on her feet.
”Dad,” Kusalitiwa starts, “Why did you choose to marry her? She constantly hurts us!”
”I didn’t choose to marry her, Kuzi,” Scar starts, “She had threatened to kill you and your cubs if I didn’t.” Scar sighs, “I’m such a coward for letting her use you against me. I’m sorry, my princess.”
Kusalitiwa sighed, “don’t worry about it, dad. Do you want to walk me to the shaman to get this gash cleaned, or do you want to clean it?”
Scar smiled at his daughter. He carefully started cleaning the wound his daughter had gained while protecting him. He couldn’t have been prouder of her.

Welp, here’s this! I never really saw Zira being the kindest mother or wife. In fact, I think she threatens everyone to have them do her bidding.
