A member of an ancient species of alpha predators, Godzilla is one of the last of his kind, a powerful protector of Earth. Originally first seen in the modern era after the development of nuclear weapons, Godzilla was driven back in 1945. However, when others such as Zilla and the MUTO arose, Godzilla awoke once again to fight against other threats. He is now monitored by the Kaiju oversite group MONARCH.
Recently, he fought against the alien Ghidorah among other threats, and appears to be heading to Skull Island...
