Backstory:
Gwen Tennyson, cousin to Ben Tennyson, is a gifted and smart lass who tempers her cousin's more immature moments. Originally just tagging along on the road trip which led to Ben gaining the Omnitrix and learning about the Plumbers, she found she had a gift for using mana and spells and other such phenomena. In actuality, it was due to another secret of the Tennysons; part of their family is descended from Anodites, rather free spirited energy beings with access to such traits, which allowed Gwen to have the high potential to use magical spells and such. She's still part of Ben's team, though has taken time at school, but is still willing to help when Ben needs the assistance.
