Thinking about it, I'm willing to bet that Underfell Sans would take a TON of Karmic Retribution damage if he got hit
Now, the ultimate question is would battles in Underfell work differently for attacks? Β Like;
In Undertale, most of the characters have a good amount of hitpoints and take your hits, while Sans is very fragile and dodges almost all of them
What if in Underfell, most of the characters have a dodging system but low hitpoints, and if you choose to attack them, there's an attack system that determines the accuracy of your hit. Β And while you encounter Underfell Sans in the True Pacifist route, he hypothetically is built like a Tank with really HIGH hitpoints and defense, and would just take hits and not give a shit (Again, hypothetical, since in the True Pacifist you wouldn't attack him)

It's also hilarious how I imagine the fight starting. Β Underfell Sans would be mocking Sans, who would be standing there quietly, then Sans would suddenly lift Underfell Sans with his blue magic, stating "Let's just get to the point" and do his beginning attack. Β Then Underfell Sans would take a second to shake it off, stating "Alright, that fucking hurt like hell"
And then after a really long fight, the two would exhaust each other and just fall asleep.

I just thought of how Underfell Sans' fight would go down if it was a game

So it all started with the idea that running a pacifist run of Underfell would be VERY difficult.
And the idea that to get past Sans, you'd have to die repeatedly
Well, I figured that simply dying to Sans a lot would be too easy. Β So here's how I think the Underfell Pacifist FIGHT against Sans would go;
The fight would start like Classic Sans' fight, and you would have to survive until you got to a certain part in the FIGHT. Β Specifically, when he acts like he's willing to SPARE you. Β When you chose to show MERCY, he will instantly kill you (Geeeeeet dunked on!)
To complete the Pacifist run, you gotta keep getting to that point, and keep showing him MERCY. Β After showing MERCY 10-15 times (I haven't decided how often yet) he will get frustrated and initiate the second part of the FIGHT. Β Then you just gotta survive until he tires himself out.

Oh, that's a super rad idea!! Though, if that were the case, personally I think that the first part shouldn't be as long as the regular Undertale sans fight, because it might grow tedious from some people to have to do the first part over and over ten to fifteen time and THEN go to a second part :3 But's that really cool, thanks for sharing that!

Maybe every time you accept his "MERCY" makes the first stage shorter and shorter? Β Until when you are capable of accessing the second stage, then it only takes probably 5 or 6 turns to get to it

I got the idea after having a thought; What if during the fight against Sans, there was unique dialogue for repeatedly getting dunked on? Β Like, you get to the "Mercy" part and you keep showing it to him, despite KNOWING that you're going to die.

And I gotta say, out of all the fanarts I've seen in the short amount of time I've been browsing for Underfell, this one is going straight to my favorites.
