Hiccup and Jack had just joined the Dinosaur Protection Group when they heard from Claire over the phone, and on the news that Isla Nublar's dormant volano had shown activity and threatened the safety of all the dinosaurs on the island. Claire had organized for the DPG to speak at a local Kindergarten class about dinosaurs in the hopes of getting the entire school to join in on their mission to save the dinosaurs from a second extinction. As a special treat for the kids, Hiccup broughts in Archie, his pet Iguanodon he rescued during the Indominus Rex incident back in 2015. The kids were excited to see a real living breathing dinosaur in person, and wanted to pet and feed him. Hiccup then noticed one shy boy in the corner hugging a stuffed T-Rex, and brought Archie over to him, and gently encouraged him that everything was okay and taught him how to properly pet Archie just like how Owen did for him on his seventh birthday. Eventually, when he placed his hand on Archie's muzzle, the boy wasn't so shy and nervous anymore and couldn't believe he was actually petting an Iguanodon. Claire even took a picture as well as some video on her phone for the website, as well as all her social media pages.

Just goes to show you how much dinosaurs can really bring out the best in others, and introduce them to a world that was much bigger than they had thought to be
