However much of this was a ruse; while he would indeed protect it for humans, he knew there were other things out there, things he would stop at nothing to eradicate. When he began drilling from his offshore facility, the public story was that he was constructing a renewable energy plant. In actuality, it was to be the central hub for a strike force. To the world he remains a charismatic, bleeding-heart eco-hero. Below the waves, he manages a base that constructs submersible hunting machines and equips a personal army to hunt an elusive species that lives in the Triangle. With specialised diving suit, which doubles as state-of-the-art body armour, he wages war. Not just against the denizens of Hy-Brasil, but with their heir errant, Aquarian.
