Chapter 1:
“What do I do if my location is compromised?”

The rules here are simple: Get out and find weapons. Zombies are swarm like in nature. If they locate prey, hordes will approach in hopes of getting a taste of sweet, sweet human food. As the food, your best plan is to leave the area as quickly as possible, avoiding narrow, easily blocked areas. Vehicles are usually only an option in low traffic areas, as areas with higher traffic are more likely to be the sites of car accidents or zombie hordes. If possible, relocate to a more remote, stable area. Never forget that a good weapon is your only defense against the undead. While motion pictures often depict a brave hero snapping necks on the way through a horde, the reality of this is a far more difficult, and far more deadly, approach than properly equipping yourself. The only weakness a zombie has is the head, and you should tailor your weapon choice accordingly. A more in-depth explanation of the strengths and weaknesses of various weapons occurs in the next chapter.
