Python was the giant snake, daughter of Gaia, living where the Temple of Apollo was. She was protecting the sacred stone Omphalos who gave her prophetic powers and direct contact with the Gods to receive their knowledge while also becoming immortal by the sheer contact with it. The other virtue the stone gave Python was her freedom from hunger and thurst.
But the sheer size of Python made the people of Delphi scared of her. But they were also attracted by the sacred stone. As such, the god Apollo came and killed her. .
Python was later revived by Alter Ego Draco. She wanted to know more about the Omphalos. Python told her what she knew about... literally everything, except where it is currently.

Python is kind of grandiloquent and display quite the arrogance. Indeed, the effects of the Omphalos are permanent on her. She is a literal Goddess of Earth with direct access to the Gods' sapience and guidance.
But she is also wise and kind. She will answers' anyone's questions when asked.

She have yet to find a role in the Sanctuary, but her talents makes her a good candidate for a job in the Church.
But she have yet to convince Jeanne and Mary.
