Power tool inspired weapon, a la 40k's chainswords.

A hedge trimmer works by moving two or three rows of teeth past eachother, by jerking one back and forth. I figured that since the moving row of teeth is basically one piece of steel instead of several discrete chains, that it would be easier to toughen against abuse-for example, using it as a weapon.

In the post-apocalypse setting, it'd probably be a signature weapon of a small, elite unit of a wealthy territory-there's too little fuel of any kind lying around to issue this as a weapon en mass.
