Deadpool by Sideshow Collectibles, Spring of 18. Funny story, I bought this off ebay, one of my first "modern" sixth scale figures (I'd collected Dragon Models police and military back when, but was not up to speed on what was available when I bought this--those area actually Dragon Models MP5's he's holding). I thought it was the Hot Toys movie version, because I wasn't paying attention. I was not disappointed, just confused when I opened it up.

I remember first seeing Deadpool in an X-Force comic my brother had, and the Marvel and Xmen trading cards I collected, then had his Toybiz action figure when it came out, and have been a huge fan since. Still have my original Toybiz figure, I did have to replace one of the swords though.

I don't buy as "investments," these are purely for my entertainment, primarily in the form of photography. So I got to making some modifications right away, mostly adding pouches, becuase Rob Liefeld amiright? Anyway, took a strap off here or there, dropped accessories, simplified his look overall.

So this was probably one of the first photos I took of a 12" or 1/6th figure, and was going for a Bowen inspired statuesque pose.
