Description
María Hernández (from México) and Rin Takahashi (from Japán) met backstage after the first episode ended. Rin was only passing by, but María quickly walked towards the Japanese gal, bringing with her a big smile on her face.
MARIA: Hey, Rin-chan! Congrats on your first victory! Great match!
RIN: Hi, María-san. Thank you! I know you won your first match too, congratulations!
Both wrestlers were excited and laughed in joy to each other. Naturally, María gave a friendly hug to Rin, who was not expecting this kind of reaction from her friend.
MARIA: Yeah, that girl was tougher than I expected, hahaha!
RIN: You probably made good friends with her.
MARIA: Well, maybe not friends, but I like her and she was cool about the match. So, that... haha. By the way, did you watch it?
RIN: I did. It was a good match.
MARIA: Right!? And winning with that pin just made it even better! Hahaha!
RIN: Yeah, I did the same on my match! People really like it.
MARIA: Who wouldn't? Hahaha!
María raises an eyebrow as she says this, getting close enough to Rin to make her lean back a bit. As María laughs and smiles she steps back to leave Rin's personal space.
MARIA: Well, isn't it cool? Both of us got our first victory with same move, on the same show. You on the main event, and I got the opening event. That's cool!
RIN: Yeah! Though I've already won with that move once.
MARIA: Huh?
Rin scratches the back of her head almost immediately after the words come out of her mouth. She remembered that the victory she refers to was against her friend , María. Rin starts to get a little more nervous. María looks serious for a second, then she slowly turns her expression into a smile. There's fire in María's eyes.
RIN: I mean, it was pilot match, so I guess it's not official.
MARIA: So you think you can defeat me again like that!?
RIN: No, no, it just...
MARIA: You think I couldn't win!?
RIN: No... Yes! No, I mean...
MARIA: Alrite... if it's a fight you want, YOU'VE GOT IT! See you on the next match, Rin-chan!
RIN: I... I didn't say anything...!
MARIA: Well you can't go back now. We will face each other in the ring, so get ready because I plan to put you DOWN for a pin you WON'T FORGET!
These last words make Rin blush, though confusion and surprise in her expression are more evident.
MARIA: Well, wanna get a drink?
RIN: Uh... yes?
