Backstory:When she was born Lucia was already hated by her parents for reasons she never knew, she was never loved by anyone before and never knew what it was like to be truly loved and cared for, when she turned 3, she gradually grew afraid of them, but also rather resentful of them, a year later, they abandoned her in a local park and never came back, she waited, and waited for them to return until night fall, she soon realized that they were never coming back for her, she had no idea why they would do this to her, but alas, the realization caused her to develop trust issues, most particularly towards her parents, her resentment for them grew, one day, someone from an orphanage found her on the streets, looking for something to eat, they decided to take her to the orphanage despite the child's protests.

For a few years, she remained in the orphanage, but her hatred for her parents remained, and during the few years there, she was constantly bullied both in the orphanage AND in school nonstop ever since she entered elementary school, this caused her to distrust anyone around her, not even the staff liked her since she would always be a handful in her own way.

She was adopted and taken into her first foster home, but the couple who adopted her hated her after a few short weeks of her staying with them, she was far too distrustful and defiant for them to handle, her foster sibling often tried to calm her down to no avail, and Lucia would have mood swings very often, she was eventually taken to a doctor and was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, shortly afterwords, Lucia was back in the orphanage she hated, as years went on, she hopped from foster home to another foster home, and every single time, she would always end up at the orphanage for one reason or another, it didn't help that when she became 13, she was diagnosed with autism.

Am I just...not good enough? Lucia had thought to herself from time to time, she eventually began to loath herself, seeing herself as inferior to everyone else since for the majority of her life, she was bullied with no end to the torment, she was either abused or neglected by families who adopted her, one day though, she was adopted by a lovely couple who genuinely cared for her, but even then, she still couldn't bring herself to trust anyone, let alone open up, for she believed they would hurt her like everyone else did, for a while however, they didn't, they, alongside her foster brother, had been nothing but nice and supportive to her, and they had a very long fuse and were incredibly patient with her, she wondered why they were nice to her since she didn't deserve their kindness or so she believed.

For a while, she thought they had an ulterior motive for their kindness and fairness towards her, despite her still acting as she usually does, she was merely trying to protect herself and she knew it, if she didn't, then who would protect her from harm? Her foster family surprisingly caught wind of this, and even got her some prescribed pills for her bipolar disorder after a scheduled appointment, after a couple of years only did she realize that they genuinely cared about her.

The feeling of being loved was completely new to her, and she wasn't sure how to really react to it, but to feel loved for the first time in her life, it made her feel warm and fuzzy inside, she was scared to trust them, but she eventually opened up for the first time in her life, it didn't change the fact that despite the efforts of her foster parents, they were unable to do much to stop the bullying that negatively affected their foster daughter.

But one day, after she graduated high school, at home, her parents sat her down and told her of the Resolute University, as they had heard of it and looked it up, they truly believed that it would be a good place for her to start studying, she was shocked, but they also explained they will always be there for her and support her all the way and that they will make sure the university doesn't let any sort of bully come onto her in her life again, she cried tears of joy and hugged them.

After she went to a building to take the exam, she became one of the few that passed the exam and was given a chance to move to Unova, she gladly accepted as her family moved to Unova to support her, she and her family were given a very sweet apartment that managed to outclass the majority of the foster homes she went to, she now hopes that her first day there wouldn't go as wrong as every other school had gone terribly for her...

Trina Sandford Lucia sees Trina as a good friend who just wants the best of wishes for her recovery, she deeply cares for Trina as if shes like a sister to her. she finds her the best kind of friend to hang around with her, she deeply loves Trina like a sister.
