[إنما المؤمنون الذين إذا ذكر الله وجلت قلوبهم وإذا تليت عليهم آياته زادتهم إيمانا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون*الذين يقيمون الصلاة ومما رزقناهم ينفقون*أولائك هم المؤمنون حقا لهم درجات عند ربهم ومغفرة ورزق كريم]
سورة الأنفال آيات 2-4
"[2] For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His Signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord;
[3] Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:
[4] Such in truth are the Believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance: "

A friend of mine is newly married and I've been told that what I'm looking for in a husband may ber her husbands brother. He's 21 and I'm 15, so it's a pretty good match. I've been looking for an arab, who's in university, and who's not *too* Much older then me. Oh, and he has to support my art
It'd be a contract kinda thing.. so I wouldn't be living with him..
Okay, past the personal stuff
Insha'Allah you'll find a wife soon who is exactly what you want and need. One who's sweet, sensible, religious, and can support you in your decisions. Plus, all the things you already mentioned in my husband, lol!

ahaha, well as I am still in school myself, he wouldn't have complete financial responsibility until he was stable enough to er.. support.. me... er... uh huh. If that made sense. Basically, i'm too young to live with a guy on my own is pretty much what It comes too.. I'm 15 and not ready to make him food everyday lol!

loooooool yea it made sense .. i just got confused coz there is a type of marriage which is forbidden in Islam but some careless 'scholars' say its ok .. its called in arabic zawaaj (marriage) al misyaar .. which is basically bad for the woman coz what happens is that the guy marries her but there is no dowry (Mahr) and he doesn't support her financially AT ALL so she has to support herself and she will live with her family (he wouldn't provide a house either) .. its very wrong coz this way the wife would be for his pleasure and thats it as if she was made for that
well if he was able to financially support you then i don't see any reason (except for cooking which is really minor) for you two living together

It's because of the age. Like I said, i'm ready to be married, but not ready to be a wife... which doesn't make sense.
Actually, I would recieve a Mahr, I just wouldn't live with him because it's quite possible he'd be studying in the middle east and I'd be finishing schooling here for awhile. So, I'd be here, he'd be there, and until I was finished schooling, we'd visit one another. Or something like that. I need to work out the minor details =/

but when will he support u? when ur ready? and when is that, after school? but then college comes in the way
well in our society no one is totally ready to be a wife but they have an idea on what their role is and what the husband must do and they do get married .. usually the range of average age would be 18-24/25 so they have no experience of being mothers except what they see around them .. but i reckon ur age is very young to get married
