Hello, Constructive critique incoming.

The Bad:

What I see so far is everything being clumped together within an image and making the scenery very cluttered, not in a good way.
I had to open the image within another page and zoom in to be able to see the character hiding within the bottom left hand corner of
the screen. Everything seems like it's in the mid ground of the image (hence the clutter).  My eyes weren't able to tell what was what
within this image and thought my vision was being sucked within the vortex of nothingness.


The good:


There are many good things going on within this image.  The trees do look like trees and the way you have the lines on the bark, gives me
the feeling of being able to touch it through my screen ( isekai all the way baby!) and the shade on the bark of the tree trunk gives it
that eerie feel to it and I'm enjoying that.  The detail that you added on to the center of the ancient tree makes it feel like it's been
around for a while.


The critique:

These are the main reason why your image is not looking it's best.

Shading and placements of objects.

Placements of objects:

When it comes to the placements of the objects.  I can't tell if the tree with the character next to it is in the mid ground or within the foreground?
and the tree with the hand is either the mid ground or the back ground?  If you added the ancient tree in the background and the tree
with the character next to it in the mid ground you would be able to show off even more of the character this way.

Shading:

When it comes to shading you must understand that what one media might look great on might not on the other.  I could tell that you used real media
to complete this illustration, now that said don't just use pilot pens or regular sized pens to completely shade for your illustration(s)  try getting
different sized pens and markers with the same type of ink, also try using brushes to fill in the background and for the effect of the clouds, use white
ink, this will help a lot.

conclusion:

I like this image, don't get me wrong, this is something that I would see at a manga page or western comic book.  when it comes to comic panels or illustration
you are trying to send a message either the story or something else.  I'm enjoying your monsters and the way they look soo menacing.  study old conan the barbarian comics
(the old black and white, from the 80's)  they are one of the best looking uses of black and white illustrations.  Here are some links:
