Here's how I'd have done it:
DC Cinematic Universe Pitch
Phase 1
Superman: The Man of Tomorrow - The traditional super hero movie. Clark Kent arrives in Metropolis, hoping to do good as both a reporter and a hero. Unconfirmed reports already exist of some kind of larger-than-life hero operating in Smallville before Superman makes his big debut. Aiming to inspire hope in an age of hopelessness, Clark's costume is inspired by an American flag waving in the wind on the Kent Farm. The antagonist is Lex Luthor, who sees Superman as a threat to humanity, as well as someone who was born with absolute power while Lex had to work hard all his life for his. Lex also uses the "absolute certainty" line from Batman V Superman because it makes way more sense for Lex to say it than Bruce. Lex's plot involves Kryptonite, which can be dangerous for humans as it is radioactive. The plot puts the lives of the citizens of Metropolis at risk, prompting Superman into action. Once Lex's plot
