This is a story comic obviously, and obviously I'm not going to have Galacta Knight or Meta Knight die in the end, but that's just my ending. It may change depending on the contest.
What happened here is while MK and Kirby were training or something, the two were attacked by a ball of light. The ball chased them all throughout Dreamland until they ended up in a forest-not Whispy Woods-and before they could escape Kirby was attacked by the light ball again.
It moved so fast that if it hit Kirby it would have broken every bone in his little body.
MK knew this and of course jumped in front of him, and was hit by the light ball. It hit him hard, but his mask sheilded most of the blow and snapped it partially. The broken edge of the metal dug into MK's forhead when it hit him, hence the bleeding.
Now, normally Meta Knight wouldn't tell Kirby to run from a fight, but when he sees it's Galacta Knight, he knows that Kirby can't fight him and that MK will have to.
After all, Galacta Knight's not after Kirby, he came for Meta Knight.
BTW: In my version of things, Galacta Knight is Meta Knight's father(and Onyx's but that's not mentioned here)who was once a great warrior. However, he was killed in a battle with a powerful demon beast when he was protecting Meta Knight after Onyx Knight had been knocked out. The monster destroyed Galacta, and took his body and powers as it's own. Now the monster is using their father's dead body as a meat puppet to do Nightmare's bidding.
More about GK will be explained if I ever put Onyx Knight into my stories.
Galacta Knight has been revived by Nightmare and returned to exact his revenge on Meta Knight. What will happen now?
Yes, Galacta Knight is supposed to be a crazed bloodthirsty psycopath. It's why he laughs so much.

I accidently read the second half of this (by the winner XD) first because I only found out afterwards that there was a page before it XD'
So I'm reading this backwards, kinda, but I like the set up just as much ^^
The wing transformation scene is especially epic! Also, while Galactic/Galacta Knight is probably the most common element from the games to be added into the Anime Fandom by Fans, your version is one of the best I have seen so far ^^ I really woul have liked to read a full story on that.
Also, I woul have been curious to see the other entrys for the contest but since it appears that the page for it no longer exists I'm happy with what I have ^^

And I haven't forgotten about my story, I'm still working on it. ^^ Certain events lead to my decision to not puplish a new chapter untill I have completed the whole thing tough so that's what i do. An I can't leave my poor readers in the dark forever as well, they keep asking about it after all

Well, in a way it's Meta Knight's real father, but at least his dead body that's being moved around like a puppet, but yeah technically that evil demon is not MK's dad. And Meta is also technically Kirby's father, but at the same time he isn't.
It's complicated, I know.
Trust me, everything will be explained soon when I finally get that comic up. XD

Well, in a way. Kirby is 'genetically' related to Meta Knight, but not 'biologically' because Kirby wasn't born but created. It's a secret that will be revealed in Kirby's origin comic. Trust me it will make since when I show it.
So, Meta Knight is more like his 'father figure' and becomes more like Kirby's father, and Kirby will eventually start calling him 'Papa' or 'Daddy' in the future. I might even have MK adopt Kirby, since Kirby doesn't really even have parents.
I'm not sure, I'm still hazy. For now, he just cares for Kirby like a son.
