Description As a graduation present for one of my really-really-good-friends-who-I-hope-to-stay-in-touch-with-even-though-we've-graduated-and-aren't-forced-to-see-each-other-everyday-in-the-hallway-or-wherever-anymore, I made a Graduation playlist and then handmade the CD cover for the burned CD. I used old shoe boxes and cereal boxes and anyother thin-ish cardboard I could get my hands on, a little bit of cloth to make the "hinges," and then the pictures were painted using Reeves watercolors on watercolor paper, which was then glues onto the cardboard pieces. I used contact paper to give it some protection against water (that's what some of the tape-like stuff on the back cover is), though it is definitely not sealed at all. There's a pocket inside the front cover that has the playlist and song explanations inside (typed up on a nicely folded sheet of printer paper). The quality of some of the pictures is definitely lacking, unfortunately, but these are what I've got. I would have taken more (hopefully better) pictures, but I was late for his graduation party and he was leaving the next day to go out of state for the summer. The project took me about... I would guess that added up the time would be around 12+ hours.

And yeah, those are all him. The profile one is from the last day of school. I did use photos for the most part, but the profile and the iticky-biticky picture with the canoe on the middle panel were not. The profile I had to go by ear and some old sketches I had of him.
