A week or so ago, one of my friends was down in the dumps, so in an attempt to make him feel better, i drew him a picture. I asked him what I should draw, and he answered: "A mountain. A very detailed mountain." I asked if he wanted just one mountain or an entire range. He chose an entire range. This is what he got.

For the actual layout of the piece I was inspired by a drawing by . The quote at the bottom is from one of my favorite songs ever ("See the Sun" by Dido). Since the song is about getting through a tough time (in the song an ended relationship or death, in real life I have no idea what's up), I thought it was a fitting touch.

This is the line art. I have colored this in PhotoShop and will post that version shortly.
