Description
RIP Kiki HavivyI was deeply moved by the message from Tara Strong earlier today on her Twitter, which read: "1:30 2day, I sang 2 Kiki as her heart stopped.kikiandami ; u fought so hard.Big thanx 2 the Bronies 4 all the love & support.bye sweet angel" I drew Tara comforting Kiki in her last moments.
How sad to hear that such a young girl was taken from this world by cancer. My heart goes out to her family.

It's just unfair that she had to go at this young age.
At least she's not suffering any longer.
Rest in peace, Kiki. We'll miss you.

R.I.P KiKi may you find your special talent and help others as well

The thing that truly matters is that you honor her and keep her memory alive, just because you didn't have money to donate doesn't mean that you didn't care, please don't feel bad.

I only heard of this recently.
I'm gathering that a poor girl was suffering an illness, and passed away in Tara Strong's company.
What's the full story?
π: 0 β©: 1
theairevolution In reply to MayeurDonz [2013-06-09 08:35:49 +0000 UTC]
A few facts to be added to your summary, Kiki was diagnosed with brain cancer 2.5 years ago, and since her insurance wouldn't pay for treatment, her family set up a charity fund to help. Tara Strong supported it, and so the brony community jumped on board to help. Sadly, she recently died.

MayeurDonz In reply to theairevolution [2013-06-09 09:43:45 +0000 UTC]
That really is a shame.
It's wonderful that so many people came together though...
I think this is one of the thinks that makes the Bronies a fine fanbase.

I may not have heard about her for very long, but there will always be a place in my heart for poor Kiki Havivy.
I am sorry for the loss, and I'm sorry for being ignorant of not knowing before.
R.I.P. Kiki Havivy
Nothing I could ever say would express how deeply sad , and ashamed, I am.

You don't need to feel ignorant or ashamed, just honor her memory by at least thinking of her and her family, I'm sure that's what she would have wanted.
