Yeah. Maybe Apple Bloom would get a OP powerful unicorn magic Cutie Mark, but because she has no horn, can't do anything with it. And Sweetie Belle gets a faster than light flying Cutie Mark, but due to having no wings, can't do anything with it either. Scootaloo would then get a Cutie Mark that allows her to fully command under her will all natural creatures and plantlife, including those outside pony control, such as in the Everfree Forest. She would basically be a mortal nature spirit or something.
