Wait. Isnt she just accident prone? Like, isnt she the mail mare? She cant be an idiot if she seems to know everypony and remember them. Also, we know she is a qualified flier when she almost replaced RD. I have yet to see proof of her stupidity.

Explain to me how she went West and North to collect the Southern birds 2 years in a row if she's not dumb. It was stated that Ditzy Doo, and Derpy are one in the same, so don't tell me otherwise.

You would be surprised how often you could mistake that. I bet if you didnt have a phone or compass you wouldnt be able to tell either. Dont think that makes you stupid.
So she made a few mistakes. It isnt like she's perfect. She improved from her first try. Instead of going east or west, she went north, opposite of south which is better than left or right.
