Of course, since this IS a Twi/Dash piece, Dash using a pregnancy test suggests either she was trolling Twi or she legitimately got bucked by a stallion either before, during, or after her "Twilight Time". I wouldn't peg Dash - the Element of Loyalty - to be the cheater type, so if the latter WERE true, it would justify Twi's hurt expression in the last panel. Hopefully Dashie is just joking, but even if she was, that's a big low for her to be tricking Twi like that if she truly loves her.

you do know twilight could have just used a gender bending spell on herself for twidash time and got rd preggers. oh and that expression is sadness at her life being taken over by a foal, she is only in her twenties or it is her upset that she is going to have to give up single life etc.

That's why they should tread carefully and not go and do something they're going regret later. If people aren't ready for parenthood, then they shouldn't be having sex, because the whole purpose for us as a human species to have sex is to preserve our bloodlines and create the next generation. Yes, sex can be also used for simple pleasure's sake, but I don't stand by that, because flings with no feelings attached seem cheap and not fulfilling to me. The romance I like is the sort based on trust forged from a strong, deep relationship created over time, not just the "Oh hai, we just met, can I f--k you" sort of thing generated by sex for sex's sake alone.

well i slightly disagree that sex is purely for reproduction, it's also for pleasure and i don't just mean flings I mean sex with you lover/partner/special somepony w/e but if you want to have a one of fling i wont stop you, but if you don't want kids take the pill and the morning after pill and condoms and practice safe sex, if the condom breaks even if it's your last one pull out and do oral or something else.

Just because there's a bigger visual ratio of mares to stallions does not mean that there aren't more out there. Besides, being that this is a Twi/Dash piece and Dash is the Element of Loyality, I fail to see her being unfaithful to Twi.

This is going by what we see and what we can infer by what we see at major town gatherings the ratios we see infer that there is indeed a greater mare population, as for the whole loyalty thing.
polygamy isn't being unfaithful. it just means group love take for example twilight and rd could date each other another mare or a stallion comes along and they decide they like what they see or not then invite that pony or not to join their herd (they decide together). twilight and rd still love each other but they both are now enjoying another pony to love at the same time and that pony loves them both in return. in turn dash could be loyal to the whole herd. also people or ponies in this case can be loyal to multiple things, groups and people. the only problem is when these loyalties conflict. return of harmony did this well where dash had to choose between her loyalties to cloudsdale or ponyville.
