"Alright, s'do this yet another time. My name is Ben Reily, and ever since I've got my mind in order, I've been back as the infamous, sensational Scarlet Spider. You can probably guess the rest. Got cloned FROM the guy that got bitten by a radioactive spider, including his memories by some jackass. Fought the original, died for a bit, came back and went to prison. Bleached my hair and got my sick look, became Spider-man for a while. Then I died. I got better but turned evil, got over that, then I lost my memories and was evil again, while using a stupid ass name, and got better again. Now I'm just bumming around, trying to figure out what this whole "being your own person" deal is about. But no matter how much stupid, nonsensical and overly-complex stuff gets thrown at me, I'll always get back up. I mean, I have to. For my bros"

Inspired by the fanon and my bud Zero's ideas for what to do with Ben after all the chasm nonsense.
Essentially, Ben becomes a drifter that moves across the states, while still helping out as the Scarlet Spider, hence the casual look over the suit. The poncho was inpired by a piece of fanart that I unfortunately couldn't find and credit
