Hey, y'all!

So this update is meant to serve three purposes:

1) Checking in on Guzma. The gang does find him... mostly in one piece. The combined stress of having unfamiliar physiology, being in a strange unnatural place, and his sudden ability to understand what the ultra beasts around him were saying led to him becoming too overwhelmed and distracted to properly chase after Lusamine, and he eventually lost her trail. The kids found him somewhat unconscious, having likely gone berserk while in ultra-form and having returned to his human shape once the stress and anxiety had receded. He's also without any belongings of his, wearing nothing but a hospital gown courtesy of Lusamine's crazy dNA splicing spree. Ya boi's had a rough night.

2) Explaining Hau's absence. Just like in the games, he won't be taking part in the final showdown, but at the same time I thought it was silly to leave him in the normal world while the player and Lillie went into Ultra Space. In this retelling he's with the group when they find Guzma, but offers to stay back with him and care for the hapless gangster while the rest move on in search of Lusamine and Plato. Hau is a good boy, innocent and pure.

3) Artistic style. Ultra Space's environment is incredibly interesting, but having full colors and shading + eerie lighting would probably drive my hand crazy. For the duration of Ultra Space, coloring will be highly minimal. A light cerulean, a dark blue, and a dark violet have been chosen as my go-to "palette" for this part of the story. Characters won't be colored, just shaded minimally. The only things that will have their own color are special effects, possibly eyes, any defining features (such as Ellie's rainbow hair), and bruising/blood.

...Y-you know, hypothetically speaking.
