Description
This is an older piece, made shortly after I discovered ssava on Youtube. I absolutely loved the way he stylizes and extends hair, and some of his pieces looked like smoke to me. So I thought, why not take it one step further, and do actual smoke?

The original sketch had much more hair-like smoke, but in the final I decided to make it look more natural (and it made the composition better imo).

This piece is also going for some symbolism, alluding to the temptations but destructiveness of overthinking (a big problem for me).

If you’re still here, here’s a little test of your observation skills: what’s in her hand? It seems very clear to me, but 95% of people who have looked at this got it wrong!
