If you were curious what the setting of the Aztec realm, Aztlan, is meant to look like, check out this rough color for page 11! This is basically the atmosphere for the entire rest of the issue.
And here's the process of how I worked out this beast of a temple! Lots and lots of sketch layers, let me tell you! I'm pretty happy with it, though.
