Mongefs are excellent hunters with their quick reflexes and high intellect. These scrappy beasts sometimes live in large packs or can be loners, wandering the rocky deserts of which they are native. Several legends and superstition attribute Mongefs to be great ghost detectors, becoming on edge and standing tall when ghosts are near. In reality they do stand tall on their hind legs to look around but the reason is likely less supernatural. This doesn't stop them from being very popular pets of mystics and seers despite having no connection to the afterlife.
