Back in the day Geoff John was writing JSA and put Captain Marvel on the team and with a nice subplot where He and Star girl (Then the Star spangled kid) hooked up. I liked this relationship it gave great character development for Marvel(beter than 52 did) and star,and realisticly Billy Baston & Countney Witmore are the same age (she might be 1 or 2 years older than him) but everyone sees a guy in his 30's dating a 15 yearold (like a reverse twilight) needless to say there relationship ended when the Captain was told by Original Flash to end there relationship and Captain Marvel left the team knowing he can't revil his Idenity to his team, breaking StarGirls heart to the point that Per Dagon went back in time to watch her heart get broken for kicks.I realy thought Johns should have done more with it or have DC get them back together in the future

Why is everyone borderline-retarded when it comes to Captain Marvel's secret identity? In "JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice", I remember someone (maybe Green Arrow) actually saying to Billy "Hey, who are you? Where's Captain Marvel?" after he was tricked into changing mid-fight. How naive can you get? I recall that once, even Batman was surprised to find out. (the "Public Enemies" fiasco) THE GODDAMN BATMAN! Honestly, in a world with guys like Red Tornado, Clayface, and the Green Lantern Corps, is it that hard to believe? Or did Shazam just put some kind of enchantment so no one could put 2 and 2 together?
