I started 2023 by posting a Ratchet & Clank themed pic and I'm going to end 2023 with a Ratchet & Clank themed pic.

People should know by now that I am a BIG Ratchet & Clank fan, and I want to recommend the series to anyone who has a PlayStation console or just loves videogames. The series is made by Insomniac Games who is the company that made the Spyro the Dragon series and the new Spider-Man games. It is an action shooter with platforming that takes place in a future sci-fi setting where you play as a cat like alien named Ratchet and his small robot best friend Clank who work together to save the galaxy/universe from great evil. You do this by using a huge arsenal of wacky weapons and gadgets and travel from planet to planet dealing with all kinds of threats along the way. The series is also memorable for its wacky characters like the egotistical and bumbling "hero" Captain Qwark, the crazy and hilarious mad scientist Dr. Nefarious with his witty butler/sidekick Lawrence, and the strange Plumber who appears at the oddest of times to name a few.

Admittedly only 2 disc are available to play for the current consoles but luckily many of the older games are available to purchase on PS Plus Premium so go check them out if you are interested. There are a few games I recommend skipping like "Size Matters" and "Secret Agent Clank" as they can be a bit odd since they were actually made for the PSP and by another company. "Full Frontal Assault" is just plain bad and skipping it has zero consequences, and if your playing the Future saga it would be okay if you skipped "Quest for Booty" as it is short and it doesn't add much between the events of "Tools of Destruction" and "A Crack in Time" through watch the ending to get a glimpse of what the states for "A Crack in Time" are.

Have fun to anyone who is going to give the series a chance in 2024.
