A recent Ratchet & Clank video by Youtuber VTNVIVI got me thinking more about who and what the Plumber is like if Gary is his biological son or adopted, if the Plumber has other children across the omniverse, as well as if he is a higher being like the Zoni are given his vast knowledge about what is going to happen during Ratchet and Clank's adventures.

This reminded me that I once had an idea for a game where the Plumber was the main focus, and I think such an idea could still possibly work as the plot of a Ratchet and Clank game.

While my old idea was about Ratchet and Clank trying to rescue the Plumber after seeing him get kidnapped, my new idea is that the Plumber pleads for their assistance in dealing with his troublesome younger sibling/cousin who is using his vast knowledge to have some fun while visiting Ratchet and Clank's universe, AKA causing chaos as he is helping villains be able to do evil things so he can watch Ratchet and the others in action. It would be kind of like what happens when the Superman villain Mxyzptlk appears, but the Plumber's family member just tells villains what they could do to achieve their goals and gives them some weapons and allies from time to time.

Such a game could be fun as we could learn more about the Plumber, like maybe he was an average guy but he became so wise that he moved to a higher plane of existence. Maybe Insomniac Games still keep him vague and mysterious but we do learn about some things like his real name, which as a twist is so unpronuncable that Ratchet and Clank still refer to him as the Plumber XD.

What are your thoughts on such an idea?
