Description

In life, Krownal was a swabby and deck hand to a crew of humans from Greywater Fastness, tasked with transporting goods to various docks. His role was as the look-out in the crow's nest, looking out for danger across the sea. During his years, he was a pivotal sharp shot for the crew, most notably snipping out the captain from a pirate crew with a blunderbuss he stole from the enemy crew. While the crew wanted to call him ‘deadeye’, he felt more comfortable with the title given to him by the captain: The Nested Assassin.
As the young man’s life was further brought in by glory, he started to notice that much of the cargo was being “misplaced”, only to discover that the captain was selling goods on the side to a group of pirate Aelves. Enraged at this betrayal to the crew and contracts, he shot down the captain in cold blood and enlisted himself as the captain of the ship. This did not last long, as on an extremely foggy day, they were ambushed by the same Aelves that were previously being sold goods. They were not too happy about their steady income being killed off, so they wanted to settle the score. The battle was brief and bloody, resulting in Krownal's death as he fell into the murky waters below.
His soul was then taken by Arkhan in the Realm of Death. He saw a potential asset of a skilled gunman, something his forces somewhat lacked, and the man was also in a raged state: easier to manipulate. So Krownal was promised vengeance to the arrogant Aelfs in exchange for the human's eternal servitude to Arkhan, and in turn Nagash. With his mind clouded by rage and bitter thoughts of betrayal, as well as his growing hatred for life itself, he agreed to be bound to Arkhan's will. Since that fateful day, he is once again on the seas, this time to sneak up on his foes and blow out their backs with his trusted cursed blunderbuss, only to once again hide in the shadows. He carves the seas with blood in his journey for vengeance on all those who do not respect the code of duty.
