I made this drawing so I could have something to explain the timeline of my FNAF AU on, so here it is:

The first major event happens in 1950, that being the birth of William Afton. Some other characters were also born around this time, such a Henry Emily, Afton's wife and Phone Guy.

In the 60s William Afton moves to the USA, there he attends high school and meets Henry. He finishes college and gets married.

In the 70s William would have his first child, Michael. He and Henry would open their first restaurant Fredbear's Family Dinner. The Dinner was a big hit. Afton would soon have himself another child, a little boy he named Evan. A few years later he would have a little girl, which he named Elizabeth. Around this time the missing children were also born.

The 80s brought a new restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A new location meant that both William and Henry would have a lot more work to do and would be leaving their children alone more often, which would quickly lead to disaster. While managing the two restaurants had taken a lot of time off their hands, it also brought in a lot of money, this gave Afton the idea for yet another restaurant. He kept the idea a secret for a long time, planning out the animatronics, ordering furniture and everything else. In 1983 he would reveal this idea to Henry, who didn't think they could manage three restaurants. William was mad, was he really telling HIM no?!?! What a coward, this could bring them millions, what is he thinking!?! Apparently he doesn't like his idea because if they carried it out they would not have time to look after their kids. This really pissed him off, really Henry, Henry who takes Charlotte to work and then doesn't look at her until the end of his shift is going to be educating him on looking after his kids!? Soon they started arguing, very close to just fighting each other. William then backed out and left. He went to a bar and drank, and drank, and drank... It was time for him to go home, so he went into his car and started driving...when suddenly, he got an idea, if Henry's such a great parent then surely he'd be watching over Charlotte at all times so that no one could harm her, right? No! He know that during his shift he'd bearly glance at her, that was his chance, we'll see who's a bad parent now! He parked in the alley behind Fredbear's and look who's waiting for him! Charlotte, all alone out in the cold rain, crying. She was happy, she thought she was saved, but she should've thought again. He stabbed her in the back, literaly. And then he stabbed her some more, once he was done, he threw her body near the thrash cans where the Puppet would find it. After Henry found Charlotte, Afton would offer fixing the Puppet, who Henry wanted to preforme at Freddy in memory of Charlotte.
It is then when he discovered something, a strange liquid dripping from the Puppet, that liquid he would later call remnant. He wanted more of it, he thought it was the secret to eternal life, and he was going to get more of it no matter what it cost him. He decided that he would open that third restaurant on his own, only this time he was going to do it in hope of gaining more remnant instead of profit. While he was caught up in buisness, starting construction on the restaurant, re-designing the robots to include remnant collecting features, and advertising, he would start leaving his children alone more. His older son would start bullying the younger one even more than usuall, having no one to tell him his ideas are getting out of hand. He would truly cross the line on Evan's birthday, when he, along with his friends would put Evan in Fredbear's mouth. When the animatronic closed it's mouth, it's teeth would break Evan's spinal cord, causing him to die that very same day. This would cause Michael to become aware of himself as a person, aware to how much of a jerk he is and that his actions have consequences. Having realised what he's done he apologised and apologised but his sorry couldn't bring his brother back. The deaths of Charlotte and Evan would cause Fredbear's to shut down.
A year later, William would make a restaurant of his own, Circus Baby's Pizza World. That wouldn't live past it's opening day, as wouldn't his daughter. He had a chance to stop now, his child, someone he loved was taken away from him. He could have stopped now, but he didn't.
Another year later, he was ready, he closely studied the children that would visit Freddy's, he learned which ones played together and which ones came there every day. He chose five of those children, a little girl who lives near by and loves her dog, her little brother, a little boy whose birthday is soon, another little boy and another little girl. The day would come and he would lure them in, one by one, each one getting killed in a more brutal way then the last. When finally he got to the last one, a little girl with pigtails, he killed her, he killed her like she was some parasite that the world needed to get rid of. What did she do to deserve this? At first he did it as to get more remnant, but now? Now it was because he wanted to, because he enjoyed it. He loved the thrill of it, the look in the child's eyes as they realised this was their end, the child struggling as they try to get away. He loved how the knife pierced their delicate skin, the blood running down their body staining their clothes. There was no going back, he was a killer and he was proud of that. And so Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed down.
Two more years had past, a new Freddy's opened and William Afton was going to kill again. He was just going to tell a security gaurd he has a day off, dress up in the uniform to kill some kids and call it a day. But he realised that would be extremely suspicius, so he made up a new identity. He played the security gaurd role for some time, then he did it, he killed five more kids. Some time after he stopped acting as a security gaurd, Jeremy Fitzgerald got his head bitten by an animatronic, not long after that another gaurd, Fritz Smith would get attacked and scarred by the animatronics. This pizzaria would soon close down as well.

The 90s rolled around and Michael decided to get a job as a security gaurd, he would later regret that decision. William would come to the restaurant after Michael was fired, he would then tear the animatronics apart. He didn't expect the souls of the children would chase him down, so thinking fast, he got into the Springbonnie suit and died.

In the 2000s Michael went to work at Circus Baby's Entertainment and rentals, where he would be tricked and scooped. Having learned that his sister possesed an animatronic, he thought back to when he worked at Freddy's, those animatronics must've been possessed as well! He then set out to find all the animatronics he could and set their souls free any way he could. He learned what gives the animatronics life and how to take it away, from his father's journal. On his quest to do so, he caught Henry's attention and after explaining his plan to him, Henry joined him, in hope of freeing his daughter.

The continued to do so through out the 2010s

In the early 2020s, Michael made a discovery, the Springbonnie suit was no where to be found, much like his father. Having learned that the suit was taken to star in a horror attraction, he had the idea to work there, as he wanted to find his father and free him. He would, of course, fail to do so.
Not knowing how it didn't work, he turned to his father's journal, once again. Thinking he missed a page, he started to look through more of the journal. What he saw made him realise that his father was a killer, he couldn't believe it! His father, who loved him, who cared for him, who forgave him for causing his brother's death, who was known for being good with children, killed those children!? He didn't know what to feel but he knew what to do.
He and Henry made a pizzaria to trap the last remining animatronics. He worked there for five days and on the sixth one, he would burn with the rest of them as Henry had his speech. He would them hug his father one last time, so he wouldn't escape and because he still loved him.
While the others all went to heaven, William was, of course, sent to hell, where his victims were waiting for him. He would then be tortured, but not for long as he beat the little game his victims made for him. Feeling defeated his most vengeful victim would move on into the after life like the others.
William would then escape, his soul clinging on to the circuts that someone at Fazbear Entertainment would later take and scan in to the VR game they were making. In the game he would take on the form of Glitchtrap, in which he would try three times to merge. The first two times he failed, but the third time, he manged to get in to the his new victim's mind. He would then manipulate her for years, until she would finally do as he commands.
The decade was nearing it's end and a new Freddy's location had opened. This was where she was going to kill for him, this is where she would rebuild him. As per his request she chose a child, a little homeless boy, who would come to the pizzaria every day. She tried, and tried but she just couldn't. Sometimes it was just hard to get him, but sometimes she couldn't get herself to do it. But Afton was having none od it, having been rebulit, he wasn't going to wait any longer, he was going to get that boy. Before he could do it, the building was set on fire and it started to crumble, but he wasn't going to stop. That was until something stopped him, he wasn't going to be destroyed, he didn't do all that for him and his legacy to end in such an anti climatic way. It wasn't going to end this way, HE wasn't going to end this way! And as the boy escaped, he did too. It is unknown where he's escaped to, but just know that, where ever he may be, he will come back, he always does.
