this pic it was one day that was so misty in my town and we went out to take some photos. i was testing the cameras flash and walla. the best pic i ever taken in my life. has no manipulation and lights and shadows are really cool. its called Silent hill because remainds me a game with the same name were you travel in a full misty town...its a really good pic.i Hope you like it.

When I first played Silent Hill, back in 99, it fueled me with a "WTF" terror sense that was VERY potent. In fact, I lived in Alamogordo, NM and when the cold air comes down the mountain to usher in fall (which is WINTER) the town becomes enshrouded in a fog so dense, you can't see three feet infront of you. This covers the ENTIRE town. Silent Hill had me looking over my shoulder whenever this happened. Did I mention that Alamo had twisting alleyways and a waterworks?

I saw this on 4scrape and I frantically searched to find the original. It's instantly become one of my favorite photos of all time. If I could frame this and put it on my wall, I would. It's so perfect and still and haunting. I'm obsessed.

it's wonderful when this sort of thing occurs... a shot that isn't set-up in any way shape or form, but lightings atmospherics and composition just come together and BOOM! Epic shot!!
This has the entire essence of the SH games right there... the slightly dream-like quality of the environment, the sense of loneliness and isolation; And the fear and suspicions that arise from just looking round you under those conditions... superb work

That is so disturbing. But cool. And if I ever saw anything move in fog, I'd throw a big rock at it's head. But, anyways, it does remind me of silent hill and its like a perfect shot.

This is AWESOME. It reminds me of Silent Hill 2. A mix between the foggy streets and the pitch black streets of Silent Hill 2.

Now that's totally Silent Hill. The guy's (?) posture really fits into the picture - to me it looks as if he's hesitating, maybe he just ran out of the forest and practically stumbled into the town.

I had a similar event but my photo is not as good as yours. I was actually playing Silent Hill 2 and it was getting late and for some reason came outside and the entire alley was covered in fog.

I would have thought of the game even if the dev weren't called Silent Hill. I was on the beach last week and everything was dark gray and full of fog and mist. It was very reminiscent of the game.
