Lemme rephrase that:

People learn from example. Well, for the most part. And as one can see on my signature, only one of the six isn't an anime.

But what I see frequently on DA--tacky anime--or just the copying of the style. Not that all anime-ish styles are displeasing, but it's so popular: that I see it becoming a fad. Thus, creativity is lost in this process. Not at all promising.

In your case, however--this is not at all an issue.

So yeah, I'm a fan of Anime--just not those who let it dictate their artwork and suspend any and all creativity.

I like this creation of yours. ^-^ There's been a couple that've stood out on your lil anime-excursion, but this one mostly. I like the stark contrast between his hair, eyes and clothing. As for shadows/highlights on his attire--dun bother. The effect is quite stunning.

While I'm no fan of Anime, this is quite impressive.

Creepy guy, that is...
It might be tricky to shade if you've used abolute black for his clothing. You could try deep blue or a very dark purple if you draw another drawing of the same character again.

Still the Silhouette body works for this drawing, so there's no need to change it.
