Sakura Shinguji from the anime Sakura Taisen, also known as Sakura Wars.
her sword's actually slightly curved, but methinks I drew it a bit too curved here. oops. The shading on her face is bothering me a bit, probably will edit this after I finish... er... all my other undone CGs.

You freehand straigh lines just like I do. Not that thats a good thing I like to see I'm not alone, but I really should stop. I'm just lazy.
As for the pic. It's a thing of beauty. Made even better that it feaures a girl with a sword.

gorgeous picture! the lineart is very nice. you might want to work a little on the straight lines (maybe use a ruler or something?) such as on the scabbard and the hilt of the sword. besides that, though, an excellent piece of art, and definitely something to be proud of. so... be proud!
